Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum

Goulburn Historic Waterworks Museum is set on the banks of the Wollondilly River at Marsden Weir.
Built in 1883. A steam operated water pumping facility.

The Goulburn Historic Waterworks has remained intact with a pumpouse and two operational stationary steam engines. This rare facility is the only complete and operational steam powered municipal water supply left in its original location in the Southern Hemisphere. You can witness these magnificent engines in operation 6 times a year. Private steamings are available by appointment. Hire fee applicable. There is picnic, BBQ facilities and a children's playground. Pumphouse Cafe is open on steaming days or by appointment.

Access to the Waterworks of off Fitzroy Street at Marsden Weir. The museum and grounds are also open most school holidays.
